Recommended Music: Concerning Hobbits
For the very first edition of #TolkienThursday, I started by sharing the first page of The Hobbit from 1937, but since people are (likely) here for toys, not books, I also shared this Lego Bilbo Baggins.
The mini-figure didn’t actually come with the Lego set seen behind him here, but like most hobbits, Bilbo is fond of the comforts of home and hearth: He loves good, simple food in abundance, and he loves his pipe and well-furnished hobbit-hole.
The Lego set of Bag End seen here is actually My Own Creation (MOC), as the set out of the box was too small, so I used two sets for a custom hobbit-hole that would better accommodate the Unexpected Party.
