For this #SomethingElseSunday post from the archives, we’ve warmed up following #GhostbustersFrozenEmpire, and are taking another look at the Mattel “Matty Collector” Ghostbusters Peter Venkman!
This Venkman figure was intended to be the first in the line but was replaced with an Egon Spengler figure because Mattel had not yet secured the likeness rights to future Groundhog Day star Bill Murray. Thankfully, Mattel resolved the issue, and this figure was released on the MattyCollector site the following year.
