On this #TurtleTuesday, we’ve got a character specifically from TMNT II: The Secret of the Ooze. It’s the NECA Toys Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Keno!

This version of the character appears to have come with the same head as the SDCC version, which used his more familiar pizza-delivery costume, but also came with a scooter and a bunch of other unnecessary add-ons to inflate the price. This version was easier to acquire, coming with the large foot soldier in a two-pack and including a punching bag, an extra head and hands, and a one-of-a-kind accessory, as far as I know – a pile of bells.

In the film, Keno is going undercover to join the Foot Clan. After successfully kickboxing several new Foot recruits, he must complete a task in which he removes as many bells from a mannequin as possible, all without making a sound. Thankfully, a smoke bomb conveniently hides Raphael, who sneaks in to assist with the bell’s removal and hides out of sight before the smoke clears the room.

Yes, NECA could have included a few more bells, and I could have also replaced Keno’s gloves with regular hands 😄… but I like how the picture turned out anyway.
