Recommended music: ABC – Poison Arrow
For this #TolkienThursday, we’re still under attack by Orcs. Thankfully, from the ToyBiz Fellowship of the Ring line, we have Aragorn with Arrow Launching Action!
Released in the third wave in the line, this is the only Aragorn figure to say “Aragorn” on the package, as the rest of his handful of FOTR figures were labeled with his pseudonym “Strider.” It’s a good-looking figure (when mint, mine has some heavy wear), complete with a muddy deco, 5 o’clock shadow, a good amount of accessories, and an arm moving action feature.
I think that is actually the strangest thing about the figure, as his “real arrow-launching action” doesn’t really come into play when you think of the character. I guess ToyBiz just couldn’t think of another name for Legolas’s action when put onto another character, but I’m guessing they couldn’t package a figure with “Orc Decapitating Action.” 😄
