Believe it or not, on this #FourHorsemenFriday, we’re taking a look at the Mythic Legions Bishop!

Bishop’s backstory, in which he was born lame in the Heavensbrand family stables and was destined to be put down until a young Gideon’s prayer led to his miraculous healing, stands out as one of the most heartfelt narratives in the Mythic Legions line. This elegant steed contrasts with the rest of the Necronominus wave, showing grace instead of the usual sense of creepiness. After waiting 26 months for the preorder, this was the figure my equestrian-minded daughter was most excited to open.

Although previous releases in this line have included several horses, Bishop is the first to feature multiple armor options, including the well-received and tasseled soft goods. The figure also includes a full-sized lance suitable for Gideon or any other knight character, an additional mane, and a “dead” head, which introduces a subtle element of eeriness for the otherwise healthy-looking horse… Ah, there’s the creepiness.😄
