On this #WhateverWednesday, we’re back in 1985 with the NECA Toys Back to the Future Ultimate Marty McFly!
In the film, Marty meets up with Doc Brown at the Twin Pines Mall parking lot for a late-night demonstration to witness Doc’s dog “Einstein” become the world’s first time-traveler.
“Wait a minute, wait a minute, Doc, are you telling me that you built a time machine out of a Delorean?” – Marty.
The ‘1985’ version of Marty shown here was the initial release in NECA’s 7-inch Back to the Future line and accurately represents Marty’s appearance throughout much of the film and its promotional materials. The figure features Marty’s signature layered vest and jacket, an additional head sculpt with sunglasses, and several alternate hands. Accessories include a hand holding a guitar pick, a yellow guitar, Doc’s camcorder, Marty’s backpack, and a skateboard.
We’re just 10 weeks away from the 40th anniversary of Back to the Future! I figure it’s worth jumping in the Delorean to revisit some great toys from the film.
