Here’s a bonus late-night post from the archives on this #TolkienThursday. Tonight, we’re also taking a look at the ToyBiz Newborn Lurtz figure and newborn Uruk-Hai!
Lurtz has had just about enough of that whip-cracking from the Orc Overseer. The other newborn there is a very strange and gross-looking accessory that you use a lever to sort of pop out of a little pod thing.
Both figures were released in the Fellowship of the Ring line, with Newborn Lurtz being the first villain included in wave one, even ahead of Saruman. The newborn Uruk-Hai was a pack-in with the Orc Overseer in wave two.
