For this #FourHorsemenFriday, we’re taking a look at the Figura Obscura Bastet!

This cat-headed fertility goddess, officially released as the Figura Obscura, The Gods of Ancient Egypt, Bastet. Her figure from Four Horsemen Studios was an honorable mention for my top 10 action figures of 2024, but I ultimately went with Anubis because I like dogs more than cats. 😄

It was actually nice that the pair was sold together, as I may have passed on this figure, but I’m so glad to have her in hand. Like the accessory and head options for Anubis, Bastet includes a headdress piece that can be removed for additional looks. The four options for the cat faces span from a very realistic style to more of a “Mother of Cats” statuesque look.

She also comes with six(!) sets of hands for the ideal look, a basket, cat and human feet, a ceremonial mask, a club, three jars, a staff, and a small statue of Bastet, which I did remember to include. Oh hey, there’s the Anubis shrine I forgot to picture last week.😄
