Scooting in for this #FourHorsemenFriday, we’ve got a Mythic Legions custom Skeletor!
According to the official Mythic Legions bio, Keltuss was a mage who combined magic with gladiatorial combat. The figure was included in the Coliseum wave of Mythic Legions and debuted at Power-Con the year before the general release. Paired with Adamonn, this was the Four Horsemen’s “unofficial” tribute figure to Skeletor, another in their ongoing line of Masters of the Universe tribute figures.
However, at some point after that Power-Con, I must have had a lapse in collecting judgment or temporary delirium, as the figure fell out of favor in my mind. I decided I no longer needed a bright blue skeleton figure in my collection, and he was sold off.
Some time passed, the value of Keltuss increased 10 times the original value, and I decided I do, in fact, need a Skeletor tribute in my collection, just not Keltuss. More time passes, and I am able to piece together a body and accessories that fit more with what I had in mind for a Mythic Legions version of Skeletor. I’m not quite sure what the circumstances of his backstory would bring him to this current appearance, but I like the look. 😜👍
