Popping up next on this #FourHorsemenFriday, we’re taking a look at the Mythic Legions Purrrplor!

If referring to his official Mythic Legions bio, Purrrplor is a Jaguallian swordsman who was once a scout but is now searching for refuge in the Wasteland following a defeat in battle. That’s a fine story and all, but this figure is New Adventures of Panthor for me! I’m not sure what circumstances brought Panthor to Mythoss, or how he gained the ability to walk on two feet and fight like a human, but he is quite confident in his new body, and even had a cat-like lair constructed in the vein of a familiar mountain in my head canon. 😄

The figure was included in the Wasteland wave of Mythic Legions and debuted at Power-Con the year before the general release. Reusing the Cowarros head from the year before, this was the Four Horsemen’s “unofficial” tribute figure to Panthor, in their ongoing line of Masters of the Universe tribute figures.

He comes with a bone knife, a buster sword, an elf shield, and a bulked-up neck piece. The posable tail can also be removed, and the head can be swapped out for an included purple orc head, but honestly, he has not spent much time sporting an orc appearance in my Mythic Legions display.
