Looking ahead, this #FourHorsemenFriday, and taking a look at the Mythic Legions Lord Bushotee the Alpha!
Lord Bushotee’s official Mythic Legions bio states that he is a true warrior as well as Lord and Commander of the “Furious Four.”
Four Horsemen Studios named the entire group of the Furious Four after the team on the ‘My Wife is Going to Kill Me’ podcast. Bushotee specifically is named after podcaster Steve Biesiada.
This group of figures was first available in a two-pack at LegionsCon 2022. In February 2023, they came back out as two single-carded releases from The Four Horsemen site with the extra heads and accessories needed to make each character. Bushotee came with the gladiator helmet head, seen here, as well as a “Pelvicus” red skull head.
For accessories, he comes with a very standard shield, spear, and sword. I do like the inclusion of the red belt and soft goods cape. The detail on the helmet and the pop of the shiny shoulder pads really helped sell this figure to me, as I’ve previously passed on most of the arena-themed releases. I also appreciate the potential of this quartet to just be generic army builders for your legions.
