Recommended music:

Today, from the Bond on Vinyl archives, we’re listening to music from Dr. No, From Russia With Love, Goldfinger, and Diamonds Are Forever!?

The “Oh Series” was a set of seven-inch records distributed by the Japanese record company King Record Co. exclusively in Japan. The music compiled for this series comes from different labels. Many of the tracks were from London Records, but other labels contributed as well. This 1972 album features music from Bond films, all from original releases by United Artists Records. All albums in the 7″ series featured four tracks, with over 50 releases in the early 1970s.

The album art is great on this series (that’s why I shared the album art, back, and gatefold).

The sound quality is also a nice, rich stereo sound of John Barry hits from the first three Bond films, and also includes the instrumental version of the latest Bond film at the time, Diamonds Are Forever.
