Recommended music: Breaking Benjamin – So Cold
On this #SomethingElseSunday post from the archives, we’ve got a Masters of the Universe collaboration with Eternian Epic Imagery. This week’s theme is “Evil Horde.”
This image was my first contribution to the “Eternian Epic Imagery” group on Instagram. If you search for it, you’ll find all kinds of cool pictures with this week’s Evil Horde theme. For my picture, I chose to share my Mattel Masters of the Universe Classics Battle Armor He-Man.
While I swapped out the MOTUC head for a custom one to get a little more expression, I still used one of my favorite MOTU figures to be at the center of the action. He-Man is surrounded by the Evil Horde in a nod to issue six of the 2013 He-Man DC comic, “Blood Ties”. He-Man certainly looks outnumbered, and I don’t think Mekaneck will be much help. Also, I’ll leave it up to the viewer to decide if that is falling snow or the ashes of war.
