Today marks the 60th anniversary of Thunderball. To commemorate the occasion, I am re-sharing an idea for a James Bond movie marathon.
For over a decade, I have watched Star Wars on New Year’s Eve, timing the Death Star explosion to coincide with midnight. Several years ago, I considered organizing a James Bond marathon as an alternative. Watching every Bond film in December is impractical; however, choosing films with anniversaries in years ending in 4 and 9 offers an enjoyable way to conclude the year with Bond action. Although most Bond films outside the Daniel Craig era do not follow a strict chronological order, the viewing order can be flexible, but the timing of the final film remains crucial to ending your year in the biggest way possible.
