As I continue the countdown of my top 10 action figure releases of 2025, number 6 on my list is the Fresh Monkey Fiction Naughty or Nice Collection Father Christmas!
This year, I’m featuring a different toy company each day in my top 10 list. I’ve talked about the Naughty or Nice Collection figures before, and I’m still impressed every time I get a new one. The only downside is the long wait. This Santa was part of the “2023 Collection,” so I pre-ordered it in 2023 and it finally arrived in 2025. 😄
I included the Four Horsemen Studios Figura Obscura: Father Christmas in this picture as well, to contrast how each toy company tackled the same character with fantastic results. While the Four Horsemen used soft goods, Fresh Monkey worked with designer and sculptor Arlen Pelletier to create this detailed, fully articulated 1/12-scale Santa.
This BigBadToyStore exclusive comes with an alternate head, extra hands, a list for checking twice, a wrapped present, a removable hood, a rocking horse, his staff, a figure stand, and a wreath. I think it’s a fun figure that looks cool all year and really pops with those accessories during the holidays.
I also want to give an honorable mention to the Naughty or Nice Collection: Dasher and Donner, which are also BBTS exclusives that arrived in 2025.
