It’s #SomethingElseSunday, and we’re back with another year of Masters of the Universe collaboration with Eternian Epic Imagery. Our theme this week is “What If?”
Marvel Comics introduced the “What If” idea in 1977 with a crossover called “What If Spider-Man Had Joined the Fantastic Four?” Since then, Marvel, Star Wars, and other franchises have used this concept to explore alternate timelines in which a single change can affect an entire universe.
For my “What If” scenario in Masters of the Universe, I imagined: What if Duncan turned evil? Man-At-Arms has always stood with He-Man and the royal family, but if he were corrupted, I think he’d use his technology to build an army of Faker robots, led by a giant Faker, to overtake Eternia and know just how to restrain He-Man and She-Ra in the process. “What If?”
Have you ever wondered what if things were different in an alternate universe? Like, what if those we see as heroes here were villains in another world? Or someone whom we call the king was just a peasant in another land. Or perhaps one who was supposed to gain great power and become the Champion of the Universe never gained that power! There’s a Universe of possibilities out there! So let’s take a look at some of these “What If” scenarios by these epic Masters of toy photography:
