It’s #FunkoFriday, so let’s have some fun. Today, instead of discussing articulation or paint details, we’re shining the spotlight on the Funko Pop! Vinyl Star Wars Rebels Ahsoka #130!

Ahsoka Tano’s return in Star Wars Rebels connected her journey from a disillusioned Padawan in The Clone Wars to the wise, solitary guardian we see later in Rebels and in live-action shows. Fans of Star Wars animation were thrilled, as she went from someone who left the Jedi Order to a legendary survivor of the Clone Wars and Order 66.

While Ahsoka’s surprise return as the mysterious “Fulcrum” in the first season of Rebels caught everyone off guard, her role grew in season two as she became a mentor to Kanan and Ezra and helped investigate who Darth Vader really was. This all led up to the season two finale, ‘Twilight of the Apprentice: Part 1 & 2,’ where Ahsoka faces her old master in an ancient Sith temple on Malachor.

Funko initially released this Ahsoka figure based on her appearance in Rebels in 2016 as a Hot Topic Exclusive. Though it was harder to find, this was right at the peak of my daughters and me watching the Rebels series, so she didn’t stay in the box long after purchase. Thankfully for fans that missed out on the initial release, it was re-released later that year and again in 2021 as a special edition without the Hot Topic Branding. This Hot Topic-branded box was also re-released in 2017 and 2021, so I’m sure you can find it at a fair price among this handful of options.
