This #TurtleTuesday, we’ve got another NECA Leonardo!
This version of Leo is based on another look of his from the 1987 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles animated series. NECA specifically made Leo in his “punk disguise” from the season 3 episode “Usagi Yojimbo” in this Turtle 4-pack with fun accessories that showed up in the season one episode “Enter the Shredder.”
The leader of the crew seems to be standing out in front of the rest of the group for some reason. It’s likely due to poor vision from wearing his shades at night time.😛
It’s #TurtleTuesday again, and today from the archives we’ve got the NECA Toys Crooked Ninja Turtle Gang!
This pair of turtle imposters from the Crooked Ninja Turtle Gang are right out of the 6th episode of the 1987 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles animated series. This is the one where Shredder takes over a dojo and has its students go commit crimes while dressed in cheap-looking turtle disguises to besmirch the reputation of the real Ninja Turtles… fun story premise, and a favorite of six-year-old me.😆

Coming at you this #TurtleTuesday from the archives, we’ve got this NECA Toys Casey Jones!
I was pretty excited to finally get this version of the character featuring the likeness of actor Elias Koteas, more than 30 years after his appearance in the 1990 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film.
The figure came in a 2-pack with April O’Neil and featured accessories from the farmhouse seen in the second half of the film. While Casey’s on-screen romance ended with that first film, it was a fun point in time for the TMNT franchise.

This #TurtleTuesday, we’ve got another NECA Leonardo!
This version of Leo is based on his look in the 1987 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles animated series. The cel-shading deco style turned out great, even for NECA’s first attempt at a cartoon colored version of the character.
It’s #TurtleTuesday again, and today from the archives we’ve got this NECA Pizza Monster!
The figure is based on an early episode of the 1987 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles animated series, and it is ready to wreak havoc for anyone surfing along in the sewers who just wants to enjoy a slice of ‘za!
This creature always reminded me of a xenomorph from the original Alien film, a design that has now been around for 45 years.
It’s #TurtleTuesday again, and today from the archives we’ve got this NECA Toys Casey Jones!
This version of Casey in a business suit is based on his look from a 1989 episode of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon. In this episode, he applies for an office job at Octopus Inc. while keeping his mask and sports equipment on.
In addition to some office supplies, the figure also comes with a non-masked head, but why would I ever want to use that one?🤪
While I love Star Wars and LOTR memes, there are also many humorous #TMNT memes out there, and I believe this figure’s release 35 years after the episode aired can totally be credited to fans of the meme. 😄👍
Back again for #TurtleTuesday from the archives, we’ve got the NECA Burne!
This Burne figure comes with some fun accessories based on various episodes of the 1987 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon, including the head seen here, where he is smugly presiding over the Channel 6 newsroom, and not having an outburst about turtles in the same vein as J. Jonah Jameson would about Spider-Man.
He also came with a head bearing a more outraged expression, alternate hands, a phone, and a framed girlfriend picture for his desk, a tiny mutant turtle version of himself, and a bowl of turtle soup.

For this #TurtleTuesday from the archives, we’ve got this NECA April O’Neil!
This version of April is also based on Judith Hoag in the 1990 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film. With the month of April winding down, I figured it would be a good time to share this version from the middle act of the film at April’s family’s farmhouse. This version arrived in a 2-pack with Casey Jones and came complete with her tiny turtle sketches and pencil accessories.
Kicking off this #TurtleTuesday, we’ve got this NECA Leonardo!
This version of Leo is based on his appearance in the 1990 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film. Being my favorite turtle in my favorite turtle production, picking up this guy was a no-brainer. The likeness is spot-on for the 1/12 scale, and NECA did a great job with the paint job.

All aboard the train, Turtle fans! It’s #TurtleTuesday, and today, we’re looking at the NECA: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Leatherhead!
This Leatherhead figure is stylized with some pixels based on his appearance in the ‘Turtles in Time’ video game. It’s a great-looking figure with nice bright colors. He almost looks friendly compared to the intimidating boss you encounter on the train level of the video game.😁👍
Finally, on this #TurtleTuesday, we’ve got this NECA April O’Neil!
This version of April is based on Judith Hoag in the 1990 TMNT film. As the month of April winds down, I figured it would be a great time to share this Channel 3 Eyewitness News reporter with her custom raincoat and custom VW van.
It’s #TurtleTuesday again, and today from the archives we’ve got this NECA Bebop!
This version of Bebop in his pre-mutated human form comes with some simple, yet neat street punk accessories. He also looks like he jumped right out of the pilot episode of the 1987 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles animated series, which is perfect.
Back again for #TurtleTuesday, we’ve got this NECA Baxter Stockman!
This NECA Baxter figure is based on his mutated bug form from the 1987 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles animated series. While the figure alone already looks cooler than the vintage release to me, he came with a few episode-specific accessories including a Gerbil Michelangelo, a sentient computer, a Shredder fly, a trans-mutation gun, and three sets of hand to hold this random stuff.
Also on this #TurtleTuesday, we’ve got this NECA Raphael in disguise!
This version of Raph is based on the 1990 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film. He’s giving you a heads-up that he carries a sai in case you step out of line.
“A Jose Canseco bat? Tell me you didn’t pay money for this.”- Raphael
Welcome to the swamp Turtle fans! It’s #TurtleTuesday, and today, we’ve got another fun character from the 1987 animated series. It’s the NECA: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Leatherhead!
I was pretty pumped when NECA first showed off this zany character. Unlike in some TMNT comic adaptations, the cartoon version of Leatherhead is all-villain. This giant albino alligator (who turned green when mutated) made his animated debut in the season three episode “Leatherhead: Terror of the Swamp,” later returning another half-dozen times. The Cajun gator is memorably voiced by Jim Cummings and successfully tricks the Ninja Turtles, the Punk Frogs, and even April O’Neil into walking into quicksand and other calamities.
NECA included Leatherhead in a 2-pack with Slash, who may be a more memorable character, but Leatherhead’s 7″ frame really stands out in this line. Leatherhead comes with extra hands including fists and a trigger hand, a strange ketchup bottle gun (I don’t remember the reference), a pair of crayfish/lobsters to hang from his belt, a chain and shackle for prisoners, a bear trap, a rope, and a net… He’s not messin’ around. “I guar-an-tee”
“Maybe you win this time, heh heh, but I’m gonna be back, you betcha!” – Leatherhead
