Happy #SomethingElseSunday! Today, we’re teaming up again with Eternian Epic Imagery for a new Masters of the Universe collaboration. This week’s theme is “Eternian Games.”
The idea of an Olympics-style competition within Masters of the Universe is certainly curious. While touched on in the second season of the Filmation He-Man and the Masters Universe cartoon, you have to set aside the notion that Evil Warriors normally seek to harm others and consider an Olympic Truce requiring a ceasefire for the sake of sports.
For my “Eternian Games” theme, I imagined the winners’ podium after a high jump event, with Mekaneck having the power and taking first place over Extendar and Rattlor. I’m not exactly sure how their height helped them, or what the competition was like, but I still had fun making the photo. 😄

Eternian Games
Do you remember the Filmation episode ‘The Games’ from season 2, where He-Man faces off against Spikor? Fan favorite Fisto also makes an appearance!
Now it’s time to see our heroes and villains compete again, and you can bet there will be some cheating along the way!
