This #MastersMonday, I’m excited to share another collage and more greatest hits with another Spotify playlist featuring music from the blog called Now That’s What I Call Toy Music!
The “Now That’s What I Call Music!” series became a massive global phenomenon, serving as a soundtrack for pop culture across decades. The series has been incredibly successful, selling over 300 million albums worldwide. The first album, “Now 1,” went straight to number one on the UK charts and kicked off hundreds of follow-up albums that track how popular music has changed over time.
If you’re wondering how this connects to my daily toy posts: Each day, I pick a theme for the toy I’m sharing and match it with music that fits. While I’ve repeated a few songs over the years, almost all of my 1000+ posts feature a unique song on Instagram. You can also listen to these songs on YouTube if you read the posts by email or on dalestoys.com.
Since my new toy photography is on hiatus, I made a Spotify playlist featuring music from the second year of #MastersMonday posts. It includes this album cover collage of toy photos for each track. Not every song I used is on Spotify, but I feel like I found a pretty good amount of music that somehow tied into my weekly posts about Masters of the Universe. Today’s playlist is the longest one so far, with music from many genres, including classical, pop, rock, and more. There are 43 tracks in total, running a powerful two hours and 45 minutes.
Enjoy!
