Recommended music: Korpiklaani – A Man with a Plan
It’s #TolkienThursday, and since my action figures are still packed up and waiting for a new display, the archive posts will come into play. That’s right, after 1100+ posts on the blog, we’re going to have to do some summer reruns for the time being.
My original post featured a lighter ballad from 1982 by a British pop band, but I’ve chosen a different direction for today’s selection. The Finnish folk metal band Korpiklaani (Finnish for Forest Clan) formed in 1997 and still performs, including this song from 10 years ago, ‘A Man With a Plan.’
I think it’s a good match for our Ranger from the North who spends a good amount of time in the forest, with elves or otherwise, and he always seems to have a plan.
