It’s #MastersMonday, and I’m excited to share something new from the collection. Although 99% of my Masters of the Universe collection is still packed away, waiting for a new display, something new will come into play. This week, we’re looking at Masters of the Universe: Skeletor Totem Cup!
The Skeletor Totem Cup from The Masters of the Universe came out in theaters in May to help promote the 2026 Masters of the Universe movie. This 32 oz plastic cup was available only in theaters. Unlike the He-Man cup, which showed both the Castle Grayskull and He-Man’s armor from the film, the Skeletor cup just features a Snake Mountain design, focusing on Skeletor’s massive snake-themed throne.
The cup comes with a removable lid, a reusable straw, and a chibi-style Skeletor figure as a topper. Again, the term “totem” is used by both manufacturers and theater concession stands to describe this kind of textured, collectible souvenir cup. Like a carved totem pole, these cups are tall and sculpted. For the Masters of the Universe set, the cups are designed to look like places such as Castle Grayskull and Snake Mountain. The non-articulated Skeletor figure has solid red eyes, which makes it look more like a traditional Funko “Pop” figure than one from their “Vnyl” line.
Good journey! – DM
