Happy holidays, toy fans!

Before we kick off the big annual countdown of my top 10 action figures of 2025 later today, I wanted to share a few website updates.

I’ve added 867 posts and about 174,000 words to the blog this year, so I’ve made some changes to help you find things more easily. Menus and the search bar are now much simpler to use on mobile (and all) devices.

Here’s what’s changed:

  • Now, you’ll only see the last seven posts on each page. To view more, just click “OLDER POSTS” on the homepage.
  • On the homepage, you’ll see the recommended music and the first paragraph of each post. To read the full post, click “Continue reading.”
  • In addition to tags, I’ve added categories to all posts, so you can select them from the homescreen. This will still show from newest to oldest, but the categories make it easier to find what you’re interested in.
  • All the “From the Archive” posts are now up. I’m still aiming to share a new toy post on the blog and in email subscribers’ inboxes every morning. Instagram followers will get the post a bit later in the day.
