Happy #MOTUesday He-Fans and She-Ravers! Today, we’re teaming up again with Eternian Epic Imagery for a new Masters of the Universe collaboration. This week’s theme is “Oldest & Newest.”
As soon as I heard the theme, I knew exactly what I wanted to do. The vintage Man-E-Faces figure was one of my first toys and a childhood favorite. It was also the first figure I purchased again later as a teenager with a job. Finally, the character lives on in new iterations, such as the Oper-A-Tiv83 figure from the Four Horsemen’s Cosmic Legions line.
For my “Oldest and Newest” picture, I imagined multiple Man-E-Faces figures pointing at each other, inspired by the original “Spider-Man pointing” meme from the 1967 Spider-Man cartoon.

Masters of the Universe runs through our blood, and we all remember getting our first figure. Some of us have held onto that nostalgia, while many of us are now collecting for a second time.
