It’s #MastersMonday, and I’m excited to share something new from the collection. Although 99% of my Masters of the Universe collection is still packed away, waiting for a new display, something new will come into play. This week, we’re looking at Masters of the Universe: He-Man Totem Cup!
The He-Man Totem Cup from The Masters of the Universe was released in cinemas in May to promote the upcoming 2026 Masters of the Universe film. This specific 32oz plastic cup was available only in theatres and features both the Castle Grayskull design and He-Man’s armor design from the film.
In addition to the removable lid and reusable straw, the cup also comes with a removable chibi-style He-Man figure as a topper. As far as I can tell, the “totem” name is a standard term used by manufacturers and movie theater concession stands to describe a specific style of textured, collectible souvenir cup. Like a traditional carved totem pole, these premium cups have a tall, sculpted layout, and in the case of the Masters of the Universe set, the cups are modeled after iconic structures like Castle Grayskull. The design of the non-articulated figure reminds me of the Funko “Vnyl” line… they just can never make the eyes right.
