Yes, it’s late again, but it’s still #MastersMonday, and I’m excited to share something new from the collection. Although 99% of my Masters of the Universe collection is still packed away, waiting for a new display, something new will come into play. This week, we’re looking at the Golden Link Inc. Masters of the Universe: He-Man Pint Glass!
This 16 oz. glass was only sold in theaters last May to promote the new Masters of the Universe film. The ‘retro’ artwork shows He-Man from the new movie, but in a cartoon style, and it also makes me wish there were an animated series using the film’s costumes (yes, I still know about the Masters of the Universe: Tales from Eternia series on YouTube).
On the backside of the glass, more art shows the new logo and He-Man’s Sword of Power from the movie. I thought I would let Torak from The Fright Zone comic shop pretend to hold the MacGuffin from much of the film.
Cheers and good journey! – DM
