Recommended music: Cradle of Filth – Funeral in Carpathia
It’s #FourHorsemenFriday, and since my action figures are still packed up, awaiting a new display, toys from the past will keep returning in a new way.
When I first picked a song to read about this action figure on the blog, I thought The Cure would make a good background for this forest giant.
“Into the Void” by Black Sabbath is an excellent match for the Mythic Legions Forest Troll. Its slow, heavy doom metal riff and thick guitar distortion feel like the footsteps of a huge creature moving through the woods. Each beat brings to mind the weight and power of a brute lifting a club or making its way across rough ground.
The song’s dark and bleak mood fits the wild, ancient forests of Mythoss. It gives a sense of isolation and steady movement, like a lone monster moving through misty woods. The track really captures the raw, primitive feel of a forest creature cut off from the world, moving with a slow, unstoppable force… towards other (smaller) action figures in your collection. 😄
