Happy #MastersMonday, He-Fans and She-Ravers! Well, I waited all day (and the past six days) for a new Masters of the Universe to arrive in my collection, but it’s still running late. So, this week, we’re looking at the Snapco Masters of the Universe: Skeletor’s Throne LED Popcorn Bucket!
Revealed at CinemCon 2026 last spring, the MOTU: Skeletor’s Throne LED Popcorn Bucket is an impressive movie theater collectible sold through Regal Cinemas and other theater chains. I’ve never really been into souvenir popcorn buckets, but when I saw this one, I knew that would change.
Sculpted into a dramatic dark diorama, the “popcorn bucket” features Skeletor enthroned on his traditional bone-carved seat while He-Man ascends the snake-flanked steps with the Power Sword in hand. It measures 11 by 10 by nine inches and supposedly has an 85 oz capacity. The container’s opening door on the back is well hidden to preserve the front display, but it’s not really practical for holding popcorn or other theater food.
Besides the detail in the snakes and the four-inch versions of He-Man and Skeletor, what really puts this display over the top are the battery-powered LED torches that cast a flickering glow over the scene. I picked this up at a convention in May ahead of the film’s June release, and though I’ve added many pieces of merchandise from the new MOTU movie since, this one remains a favorite.
