Recommended music: Midnight Syndicate – Unhallowed Ground
It’s #FourHorsemenFriday, and since my action figures are still packed up, awaiting a new display, posts from the archive will continue to come into play.
Midnight Syndicate’s 2002 track ‘Unhallowed Ground’ is a great match for Belualyth, the Ghoul Beastmaster of Necronominus. The deep bells and heavy pipe organs evoke old crypts, capturing her dark origins.
The steady, rhythmic percussion sounds like a slow march, fitting for a dark commander leading strange beasts into battle. This track gives her display a haunting cinematic feel, turning it into a dramatic high-fantasy scene.
